THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: REINVENTION
Lots hopping here, so a short column this week.
Here is this week's suggestion: reinvent your screenwriting business.
I just did a makeover on my materials, and it feels pretty good. I totally redesigned my letterhead and business cards, am working on my first web site and have embarked on several new marketing strategies.
So far, so good. I've gotten half a dozen script submissions this week alone, based on my stories, of course, but also because I felt good about my new image and am pushing in the marketplace.
If you don't have letterhead and a logo, get one. If you've had one for a while that you feel doesn't represent the current you as well as it might, consider a change.
A fresh start can bring encouraging results.
