“Attributing Outcomes: Journey from Victim to Hero”
Reg Harris discusses how the Hero’s Journey is, in a sense, a story of the hero having to face challenges that he feels have been beyond his control and take control of them, thus becoming more responsible for his own life rather than blaming outside forces beyond his control — bad luck, other people (or his own inadequacy or ineptitude) — for what happens in his life.
